I had to remove this in my lab. Note sure if I installed it or not….(don't think so!).
Dism.exe /online /disable-feature /featurename:adminui Dism.exe /online /disable-feature /featurename:nis Dism.exe /online /disable-feature /featurename:psync
Above didn't work for me so I tried below command from this Reference
Powershell
Remove-WindowsFeature RSAT-NIS
note - the ONLY command line you need to run is the above one - and it does not require a reboot.
