• Manual Create CSR on Windows - so you can specific SHA 256, i.e. “Create Custom Request”

• enter CN, OU, etc.
• Enter DNS

• Digital signature
• Key encipherment

• Server Authentication
• Client Authentication (optional unless mutual auth is used)

• Key Options → Key Size: 2048
• Select Hash Algorithm: sha256
