Soft Deletes
Soft Deletes adds the column deleted_at to your table. It can be added by updating the migration config.
Example config for User table below:
- ,highlight_lines_extra="12"
- <?php
- use Illuminate\Database\Migrations\Migration;
- use Illuminate\Database\Schema\Blueprint;
- use Illuminate\Support\Facades\Schema;
- class CreateUsersTable extends Migration
- {
- /**
- * Run the migrations.
- *
- * @return void
- */
- public function up()
- {
- Schema::create('users', function (Blueprint $table) {
- $table->id();
- $table->string('name');
- $table->string('username')->unique();
- //$table->timestamp('email_verified_at')->nullable();
- $table->string('password');
- $table->rememberToken();
- $table->timestamps();
- $table->softDeletes();
- });
- }
- /**
- * Reverse the migrations.
- *
- * @return void
- */
- public function down()
- {
- Schema::dropIfExists('users');
- }
- }
